New eBooks available The Capital Area District Library (CADL) now has a whole new selection of eBooks just for our younger patrons. Disney Digital Books, a collection of nearly 700 titles, is available through CADL’s digital download service. Features include: • Look-and-listen titles: These books are narrated and each word is highlighted on the screen as it is read aloud. • Formats that support early literacy skills: Books for pre-readers feature pictures and simple sentences, while others are for children who can read short paragraphs. • Chapter books for independent readers: Movie novelizations and junior novels are based on popular shows and movies like “Wizards of Waverly Place” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.” • Trivia questions: Some
