Training News I have been busy working on the annual Training Plan for 2018 and it looks like its going to be another very busy year. There will be a big push on health and safety training this year as we replace the 6 Pack classroom training with a Blended Learning solution which will involve a mix of online training supplemented with

training. The NPLQ Ongoing Training and

Assessment

training will continue in your venues and we will be carrying on with the role out of the Lifechanging Event Workshop. It is the aim to have all lifeguards attend this session by the end of the year. Fire Warden Training will be resumed this year for all those in Supervisory and Catering roles. Gary McLean Training Officer

Reward and Recognition

Have any of your colleagues gone above and beyond what is expected of them? ……… If they have, we want to hear about it! The Company recognises that Our People are the most valuable asset we have, and we want to recognise the success of Our People. On a monthly basis, we are looking for acknowledgements of achievements for individuals or teams that make them stand out from the rest.

So……, • Has a colleague gone above and beyond? • Has a team done something extraordinary? • Has a colleague done something out with work that

you think is awesome?

• If yes to any of the above then please let us know! Complete a Nomination Form giving as much detail as you can and send it to the HR team at Head Office. An Employee Recognition Panel, made up of your colleagues, will then asses and determine who has gone that extra mile! Nomination Form can be found here (input link)
