Pupil Premium Allocation
Pupil Premium Allocation This is a sum of £430 (2011-12), increased to £600 (2012-13) allocated for the number of children entitled to free school meals to raise achievement among disadvantaged pupils. We have used our Pupil Premium allocation to contribute to funding of the following:• Employment of two coaches to introduce and steer the Empowered Learning project with pupils in Y6. This project motivates and encourages children to take responsibility for their own learning through setting and addressing personal learning targets. It involves class and one to one coaching and involvement of parents. • Buy in to the Achievement 4 All programme for 2 years which focuses on raising attainment for vulnerable pupils through parental engagement. • Employment of an Inclusion Team – PSA, Inclusion Support Assistant and Learning Mentor. • Purchase of Fresh Start and Hickey literacy intervention materials, assessment and diagnostic materials and TA training. • First Class@Number maths intervention resources and training • One to one tuition • ICT resources to support interventions – Clicker 5 and Quest dyslexia programme. • CPD – Climate for Learning, Lesson Study and Assessment for Learning materials. Spending decisions have been informed by school needs and impact studies (Sutton Trust).
