However... Take what you can handle. Don’t try to be superman! You’re not made of steel.
No matter how tempting it can be...try not to PROCRASTINATE!!!

Can you belive it? It’s already the end of yet another school year. For many of you lucky seniors, it is the end of your high school career. Congratualtions, you’ve made it! As I began to embark on my high school journey at Los Altos, I dreamed of being a part of journalism. The moment I saw our school magazine, I was amazed at how incredible it looked. My hope was to one day become the A La Mode editor. I hope you can all see that this edition is dedicated to comic books. Growing up reading Stan Lee’s work, I always dreamed of having a comic book of my own. From the brilliant illustrations to the unique style his comics portrayed, such superhero comics always intrigued me. In this edition, we attempted to bring a piece of that into our magazine. As we say our last farewell to seniors, this magazine is dedicated to them. I hope you can all appreciate the hard work that has been put forth toward creating this edition. Seniors have many challenges ahead. We hope this edition of A La Mode helps them get started with a smile. I’d like to give a huge thanks to every person involved in this magazine especially, the magazine staff and Mr. Rookwood. I’d also like to thank those of you taking time to read this edition. A La Mode has just begun. It will forever grow. Never forget to remain peaceful and positive. Just go with the flow, and watch everything fall into place. Thank you for reading, and I hoped you’ve all enjoyed this comic book edition.
With love, Alexandra Velasquez
