Shelterbox and Rotary

Rotary and ShelterBox have a close relationship as they work together to provide humanitarian aid and disaster relief around the world.

ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter and essential supplies to people affected by natural disasters and conflicts. The partnership between Rotary and ShelterBox began in 2000, when a group of Rotarians recognized the need for emergency shelter and supplies in the aftermath of the earthquake in Gujarat, India. They formed ShelterBox as a project of Rotary and it has since become an independent organization that continues to work closely with Rotary.
