Their love was what some would call “picture perfect”, a beautiful masterpiece using mediums of music, family, love and of course art. The finished product was a marriage done their way, during a time when others demanded that they conform or fit in a box labeled “African American” or “Art enthusiast”. They opted to select neither, sculpting their own hand carved box that contained a life lived as only Art and Sylvia Berry would.
