I love promoting volunteerism in our community by honoring women who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of other people. Each of my Women of Achievement sisters has been honored for making an indelible impact on the cultural and social landscape of our region. Ask a Woman of Achievement to do something, and it gets done. Our mission is to honor the volunteer service and leadership of women. Each of our 10 honorees has a story to tell. She may bring dignity and joy to the elderly, champion the arts, fight poverty or battle crime. She may advocate against domestic violence, develop a community resource or prevent child abuse. All Women of Achievement have made a significant impact through their volunteer work and are recognized for their passion and compassion.
