Tension is often a symptom of musculoskeletal imbalance. Muscle imbalance can distort bony alignment, exerting tension on soft tissue and nerve endings that may create discomfort. Massage Therapy is often underrated and underutilized as a therapeutic procedure; when applied correctly and well, it can be very effective in the management of musculoskeletal imbalances.
