6th grade Energy

Transformation of Energy Students in Mrs. Torre’s science classes observe the transformation of energy in a flashlight. There is a lot more to science than just turning on a flashlight!!! Do you know how and why a flashlight works?

Very Illuminating

Students in Mr. Garcia’s SFA class created character puppets then wrote a story about them. The authors picked classmates to act out their story using their puppets as the read the story to the class. It was a great experience as students showed their creativity, writing ability and teamwork. Nice Job!

Art Club Students created their own scratch boards using oil pastels. It was a messy process but the results were terrific.
