Do You Remember When It Rained?
The water caresses my skin as my hands skim the water I stand in. I stand alone, silently looking down into these cleansing waters. The stream washes away the thoughts that keep my mind away from you. Thoughts are all I have left, no more pride or love in myself, only inescapable thoughts of you. These thoughts are all I have to do. Do you remember when it rained? I felt the ground beneath my feet, looked up and called your name. Do you remember when it rained? In this darkness I will always remain. All these tears of hope cascade down my skin and these tears, these powerful tears, will never dry. My earthly flesh and desires slowly start to die through the water, magnifying the one deep within my heart. Do you remember when it rained? I felt the ground on my back, looked up and called your name. Do you remember when it rained? In this water I will forever remain. Now the tears come running and running down, in remembrance of that rain.
