SOME TIPS ARE

Tip 1: do your research The gems show, especially the famous ones, do a very special 'feel'. Depending on your reasons for being present, some may be suitable for you and others. If you are a jeweler who is looking for smaller stones for setting, then a sample that specializes in samples of gems or geodes, is probably not going to work for you. If you are an interested amateur rock hound, do not plan to go trade-only in the form of gems show will not be allowed in you.

TIP 2: BUDGET With so many gorgeous stones on display, it is very easy to take part in the gem show. Do not bankrupt yourself! One way to set a budget is to take cash only, so you can not spend as much as possible for it. Make sure you take it to a safe money belt, though.

TIP 3: PREPARING BEFOREHAND While your purchase, we need a strong bag. We should also have a notebook so that we can have seller's information like place, price, range etc.

TIP 4: A GAME PLAN We should make the list of vendors and note down what we really want to see. While watching a gem show, we may get distracted and forget to find the stands you meant to visit. Part of the fun of gem shows is letting the show itself lead you!

TIP 5: MAKE CONNECTIONS We should stop and chat. Vendors should talk about the gems they have for sale and must share their experience and knowledge with you. Who knows, you might make some friends and contacts for life!
