Just like a beach, the water gradually deepens from less than an inch to a depth of 12 feet. Wade and enjoy the cool water on a hot summer day. Our Jungle Shack slide is especially designed for small visitors. Water geysers shoot up to 6 feet of water. Have an Elephant Shower, too!

AQUA BLOOM This feature has a large colorful flower bloom at the top. It has a series of nozzles in a unique formation around the column creating an amazing spiral curtain. A secondary jet shoots water from the center of the flower.

TURTLE FALLS WATER PLAY AREA & SLIDE Play in a rumbling 13-foot waterfall. Climb between the rocks for a fast trip down a tropical slide.

SERENGETI PLAINS GRASS PLAY & LOUNGE AREA Watch the action and work on a tan as you relax on beautiful grassy slopes.

CHEETAH’S RUN SPEED SLIDE Swish down the fastest 61-foot water slide in the area. Reach exhilarating high speeds before splash-landing in the plunge pool.

ANACONDA ALLEY TUBE SLIDE Grab an inner tube and cascade down our 200-foot tube slide. Tandem tubes available for double fun.

RHINO CHUTE BODY SLIDE The ultimate 130-foot water slide that twists and turns and ends with a big splash into the plunge pool.

DUMBO’S DROP SLIDE Imagine a slippery ride down an elephant’s trunk with a free-fall at the end!

LEOPARD’S LEAP DIVING AREA Leap or dive off our one-meter board. You’re airborne until splashdown.

TARZAN’S & JANE’S LOCKER ROOMS

For lunch, dinner, or just a snack! The Oasis is open daily during most open swim hours. Enjoy pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken fingers, bratwurst, french fries, nachos, popcorn, hot jumbo pretzels, chips, cookies, ice cream, candy, slushies, bottled water, soft drinks, and more.

2 0 1 0 ca m p & a q uat i c s LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM The Hanover Park Park District’s Learn To Swim Program offers swimming instruction for people of all ages and abilities. Several sessions of swim lessons are available throughout the summer. Rain dates are reserved for make-up classes due to inclement weather. The “Learn To Swim Parent Manual” is available at registration, the first day of lessons and on the Park District website at www.hpparks.org. Participants 5 years & older will be tested the first day of class and placed in the Seahorse through Sharks levels. Due to limited space surrounding the pool site parents and other spectators are permitted to wait on the deck area under the Funbrellas or the Oasis concession area. Advance registration is recommended to ensure choice of class times for the entire summer. Registration will not be accepted after the registration deadline to ensure low ratios, quality lessons and instructor availability. The park district reserves the right to combine class levels if deemed appropriate.

If there are questionable air or water temperatures/conditions, classes may still be held out-of-water. Classes will be cancelled only in the case of severe weather. The decision to cancel class will be made before the start of each swim lesson. Because of the large number of participants and unpredictable summer weather, we cannot contact everyone in case of cancellation. See the “Learn To Swim Parent Manual” for cancellation procedures.
