The Centre Court Athletic Club (CCAC) is a community facility, owned and operated by the Hanover Park Park District. We offer the finest in services and facilities for fitness, health, racquetball and tennis for the entire family all at reasonable rates. Stop by or call us for a tour.

Registration Registering for a Centre Court Athletic Club program couldn’t be easier. To register, please stop by the Club front desk, located on the lower level of the Community Center or call (630) 837-6300 and register using cash, check, Visa, Discover or Mastercard. Our desk staff will be glad to assist you.

General Tennis Class Information • Registration for tennis classes is on a first-come, firstserved basis. • Students or participants must pay the full price of an individual drill, lesson or clinic regardless of showing up late to a class or leaving early. • If a lesson participant misses a class, he or she may make it up during the current session with tennis pro approval only. Missed classes may not be carried over into a new session. • Please call for information regarding USTA Adult Leagues, Junior Tournaments and Women’s / Men’s NITTL leagues. • All classes, regardless of age, are based upon ability and skill level. Private Tennis Lessons Improve your game by taking a private or semi-private lesson or a hitting session with one of our junior tennis professionals. Permanent Court Time Racquetball* and Tennis court time may be reserved on a permanent basis for three sessions per year by filling out a permanent court time contract. When you reserve tennis permanent court time you receive the following benefits: Reduced rate because you pay in advance for each session, we reduce the hourly rate by $1.00. Tennis and Racquetball: Guaranteed reservation – you never need to call, just come in and play, your court is waiting. PCT goes on sale August 17, 2013 at 9 am for the Fall/Winter session. *Although racquetball courts are available to our members with no charge, if a member wishes to have court time permanently reserved throughout a session in order to ensure court availability, a $5.00 per week charge will be applied, payable prior to the start of the session. Wallyball Court Fee Wallyball brings the explosive fun of volleyball into the competitive closeness of the racquetball court. Great party game for up to 8 people! Aerobic Studio This 2500 sq. ft. studio features wood flooring, mirrors and a state-of-the-art sound system.

Fitness Center This 2400 sq. ft. center features state-of-the-art resistance & cardiovascular equipment and a fully equipped 600 sq. ft. free weight room.

Handicap Accessibility The Park District and the CCAC are handicapped accessible and comply with A.D.A. standards. The elevator is accessible from all 3 levels and is available for public use.

Locker Rooms, Whirlpools & Saunas Club members will enjoy the clean and spacious men’s & women’s locker rooms, each with its own whirlpool and sauna.

Lounge and Snack Bar The central core of the club includes a lounge area complete with a big screen TV where members and guests may relax after a hard workout.

Kids Korner Service Kids Korner service is available to program participants who utilize the Centre Court Athletic Club. The Kids Korner, located next to the Aerobic Studio, is available Monday-Friday from 9 am - 5 pm (by appointment only).

Pro Shop A complete stock of the latest in tennis, racquetball, fitness equipment and accessories is available at competitive prices. A professional racket stringing & gripping service is also available.

Racquetball Courts The four racquetball courts offer hardwood floors and complete climate control for year round playing comfort.

Tennis Courts Our 10 indoor tennis courts feature the “Chevron Laykold¨ surface which offers a true bounce and minimum leg fatigue to players of every ability level. Four of the indoor courts are air-conditioned for your summertime comfort.

Refund, Cancellation & Transfer Policy: Please see page 46 for the policy of the Hanover Park Park District.

Court Reservations & Cancellations Members may reserve court time up to seven days in advance. Cancellation of court time must be made at least 24 hours in advance of play. Members are responsible for court fees if for any reason they wish to cancel less than 24 hours and the court cannot be sold. Members who make reservations and fail to show are responsible for the cost of the court and are charged accordingly.

Guest Policy Non-members who wish to utilize the tennis and racquetball courts are responsible for $6/ $8 nr guest fee. Non-members using the fitness center, whirlpool and sauna only, will be responsible for an $8/ $10 nr guest fee.

Monthly Play Pass If playing a lot of tennis is high on your priority list you can’t go wrong by purchasing a Play Pass. Reservations may be made up to 48 hours in advance, initially for one-and-a-half hours of tennis. If the court is available at the end of that time, please contact the customer service desk to see if the court is still available. Non-play pass holders must pay their portion of the court time fees. A valid CCAC membership is required to purchase a play pass. The play pass is available during the following hours: Weekdays from 5:30 am to 5 pm. Play pass fee: Tennis $70/month

Membership Information CCAC offers two types of memberships for your specific athletic club needs. Our “club membership” is an all inclusive membership that covers the three main aspects of the club; tennis, fitness and racquetball. Our “fitness membership” is the same as the “club membership” except it eliminates the tennis aspect of the club.

Members will now have the opportunity to put their membership fees on an Auto-Debit payment plan through their checking account. This will allow members the opportunity to begin using the Club without paying one large fee upfront. • Family Memberships include husband, wife, and members of the immediate family who are age 21 and under and who reside at the same residence. • Junior Memberships are available for individuals age 17 and under. Fitness center usage requires an orientation session for youths ages 11-15, at which time a parent or legal guardian must be in attendance. Any subsequent use of the fitness equipment by youth ages 11-13 must be under the supervision of the parent or legal guardian. Youth ages 11-15 will not be allowed to use the free weight area. The fitness center will only be open to youths ages 11-15 at the following times: Weekdays 2 - 6P Weekends 12 - 6P • Senior citizen memberships are available to anyone age 60 and over. • Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. • Memberships may be put on hold for medical reasons. • Couple memberships are available for two individuals over 17 living in the same household.

FITNESS

Classes are held in the Community Center Aerobics Studio for ages 14 & up. Children will not be allowed in the studio during classes. Drop-in fees are paid directly to the CCAC front desk prior to the start of class. Showers and lockers are available for use in the Athletic Club on the lower level. 1. Kid’s Korner service is available Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. For additional Kid’s Korner service information, see page 44. 2. Participants must register and sign a waiver prior to the first day of the session. 3. Participants must bring their own floor mats to fitness classes. 4. There will be no prorating of classes. 5. There is no “making up” of classes that are missed. 6. Cancellation policy: any group exercise class may be cancelled or altered due to low attendance. 7. If doing a drop in, a receipt must be given to the instructor, before class, to participate.

Group Fitness Class Descriptions Turbo Jammin’ Kickboxing and body sculpting workouts set to the hottest dance music. Get ready to “rock” your workouts. Power Sculpt This total body conditioning workout uses a variety of equipment (dumbbells, tubes, stability balls, step board, etc.). Improve your muscular strength and endurance. Increase your metabolism and build bone density. Zumba® Ditch the workout, join the party! A high energy interval cardio class set to latin/international music. Be ready to sweat! Rockin’ Bods Dance the calories away with fun dance moves and great music from the past. Kickboxing Jam Intro to cardio kickboxing. There is less intensity and this class is slower paced than our Cardio Kickboxing class. Hip Hoppin’ Abs Dance your way to sexy strong abs and burn fat off your entire body. Step Funk Step is back…this energized step workout will make you feel liberated and alive. Great music that will keep you in high gear! Starter Pack

TEENS! Intro to Fitness Class This three-session class will cover fundamentals of exercise using the fitness center equipment (does not include the weight room), get a workout while learning, and be tested to determine understanding of safety and proper use of equipment. The member will meet once a week either in a group or one-on-one. After successful completion of the exam, the member may work out during all operating hours of the fitness center and will receive a certificate of completion (ages 11-13 require parental supervision). Fee: $45 per member 1 hour class meets once a week for three weeks with the trainer. Ages: 11-15 years

Kid’s Korner Childcare Service

Hours: Mon – Fri 9 am - 5 pm

By Appointment Only

Kid’s Korner service is available to Park patrons who attend programs at the: • Community Center • Centre Court Athletic Club • Ahlstrand Fieldhouse • Hollywood Activity Center The age range for the Kid’s Korner is 3 months and up. Children may be left in the Kid’s Korner for a maximum of 2 hours. Call the Centre Court Athletic Club for additional information.

Punch Card System Purchase a punch card at the Centre Court Athletic Club during regular hours of operation. Users must have a punch card on file or purchase one before using the Kid’s Korner. If you have an appointment and are unable to attend, you must call to cancel by 7 am the morning of your appointment or you will be charged for the reserved time. Participants must make appointments by calling the Centre Court Athletic Club 24 hours in advance. Staff will stay 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment. If you are running late, please call to insure your appointment. If you are a regular user of the Kid’s Korner, you may pre-book your reservation 2 weeks in advance. Kid’s Korner now has computers and a Playstation for all participants to use.
