Repair, Upgrade, Replace:
Without the Hassle. Not sure what is the right server, desktop, or firewall for your company’s business practices? Your friendly IT support can lend a helping hand.
Replacing business computer equipment can be a major hassle. The receptionist wants a flat-screen monitor, your sales staff needs laptops, and your main printer shoots out 10 extra pages per document. Where do you go from here? Ask yourself three questions. First, what can you afford? Second, what to buy? And finally, who can you trust with this purchase? Obviously, look to your budget for answers. If $$ is not available to
replace all of your ancient PCs, consider upgrading them, instead. Not all machines are worth upgrading, but consider all options before writing the check. Look to your IT support staff for regular updates on what needs to be replaced in your office. They are fixing the bugs on the existing equipment, and will know the machines with the most quirks. Kyvon provides system evaluations to estimate which existing machines will need to be upgraded or replaced
in the near future. Call Kyvon for upto-the-minute pricing on all business equipment, for one-stop-shopping without the hassle. For more information, please call (314) 416-1490.

Are Your PCs “Vista Capable”? Microsoft released Windows Vista to the general public January 30th, five years after the release of Windows XP. With hundreds of new features and increased hardware requirements, what is the new user to expect? Find out if your PCs are ready for the upgrade.
Vista Business VS. Vista Ultimate What is the difference between the Windows Vista Business edition and Vista Ultimate? Vista Business does not include the following features, which are included in Vista Ultimate:
Windows Media Center Windows Media Center extenders Windows BitLocker Drive Encryption
According to the Microsoft website, “Most PCs purchased after 2002 should be Vista Capable.” But what does Vista Capable mean, exactly? A Vista Capable PC possesses the basic hardware requirements needed to run the non-premium editions of Windows Vista.
It seems that the overall suggestion is to take a step back and consider your options. Microsoft.com provides Vista upgrade ROI calculators, and a step-by-step guide to choosing the correct Windows Vista edition for your home or business.
But, not all PCs are ready for the most recent Microsoft release. “A new PC running Windows XP that carries the Windows Vista Capable PC logo can run Windows Vista.” No logo? Check the diagram below to see if your PC is Vista Capable.
All in all, do your research and ask plenty of questions. Do the software programs you use work in Vista? Which PCs will need hardware upgrades? Are the new Vista features beneficial to your business practices?
Windows DVD Maker Premium games: Chess, Titans, Nahjong Titans, and Inkball
Windows Movie Maker in High Definition
Windows Ultimate Extras* *Windows Ultimate Extras currently available include: Windows Hold’em, a poker game for players of all skill levels Language packs for Windows multilanguage interface, where users can install and use multiple languages on a single PC. Founded in 1998, the Green Center is a natural oasis in the heart of the St. Louis metropolitan region. The center is headquartered in a residence built in 1932 and is located in Kaufman Park, University City, Missouri. The heart of the Green Center is its outdoor spaces which include learning and demonstration gardens on the headquarters' grounds; a half-acre prairie within a short walk of the headquarters; a half-acre Missouri wetland; the 26-acre Ruth Park Woods; and an Arboretum in University City's Heman Park. We encourage visitors to explore the Green Center's outdoor spaces on their own or take advantage of our classes, guided field trips, summer youth camps, scout badge programs, and service learning and volunteer opportunities. Artists find inspiration here for their photography, painting, and creative writing. Bringing the outdoors in, the Green Center now provides nature-related art exhibits by talented local artists. Saturday, April 14, 10:00am—2:00pm Have you ever spent time in one of University City’s parks and been thankful for all of the green space residents have to enjoy? Do you have children or other students in your life who’ve taken classes at The Green Center? Are you interested in nature but don’t get to spend much time outdoors? If so, join your neighbors for a day out in Ruth Park Woods! Participants will be removing invasive plant species from the Woods, cleaning up our biggest “outdoor classroom,” and helping to make one of our city’s star parks healthier while learning about forest ecology. “Free the Forest” is your opportunity to make a difference in an important public space we all share! Refreshments will be provided. For more information about this event or to find out more about The Green Center’s work in Ruth Park Woods, call (314) 725-8314 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Green Center plays host to several art exhibits a year. While works share nature as their inspiration, the media range from oil painting and photography to sculpture. The Green Center also houses a permanent art collection that includes photos and an installation piece throughout our 30-acre outdoor classroom. Student artwork is also displayed. All exhibits are free of charge, and open to the public from 10:00am until 6:00pm, Monday through Friday (closed holidays). If you are interested in showing your work, contact us at (314) 725-8314. Volunteer Opportunities Care for Your Community
Visit the website or contact: email@example.com (314) 725-8314 x102 The Green Center has volunteer opportunities to suit all interests, whether you prefer indoor or outdoor work. At present, we are looking for individuals willing to help us manage our website and database, or serve as Volunteer Instructors.
