VERMILLION NOW The Vermillion Area Chamber and Development Company (VCDC) was rebranding their Vermillion NOW campaign. The campaign’s main goals were to increase the number of jobs, land development, and other physical additions and expansions for Vermillion over a five year period.

The project included a new logo, stationary set, logo manual, brochure, and envirnomental design mockups. The main inspiration for this logo came from the town hall’s clock tower and other well known buildings around town. The red, white, and black color choices came from USD’s influence on Vermillion.

DEE’S FOOD TRUCK This is a branding project that I worked on targeting families and people of all ages in the Midwest. Dee’s serves a menu with a variety of simple, all-American meals and sides. The project included printed materials like business cards, punch cards, brochure menu, and a simple stationary set. This project also included are a food truck wrap and an app design. The logo was inspired by the simple menu items. I wanted to feature something that would showcase the food truck’s specialty and culture of food. The name of the company was inspired by my Grandmother’s name, Deloris, and the colors came from the all-American menu.

TROUNCE Trounce is an app design that combines fitness and gaming to help motivate users to workout. By earning coins and rewards during their runs, or missions, the gamer can buy new pieces for their castle. Users would be able to login or register to save their progress and view their workout history. 9

GIVE PIT BULLS A CHANCE The information displayed in this poster shows Pit Bulls compared to other dogs, shelter statistics, dogfighting, and other data to inform the public and people who are thinking about rescuing a Pit Bull. The inspiration to illustrate the dogs came from looking at all the different breeds of Pit Bulls throughout this project. For this infographic I chose colors that wouldn’t be too distracting but would still be fun and invite the audience to look closer. INFORMATION

WE ARE MIGHTY This was group publication project that aimed to empower USD women while also highlighting sexual assult and discrimination.

We held an event open to the public after we collected anonymous stories and other information. At the event we played a gif of our empowerment words, displayed twenty posters of the stories we had received, and had a place where others could share their stories anonymously. Our guests were also

We chose to use uplifting colors to help the more negative content fuse better with the positive empowerment objective of the project. We also used a varity of type faces for our buttons and posters to help voice all the different personalities and women that contributed their stories to our project.

This brochure was created with the USD creative services team and athletics department to match the university’s branding and logo requirements. It includes elements like ticket holder benefits and a seating map.


FORK IT Fork It was a web design I created targeted towards young adults and college students. The site is a place where the users can come to find easy and healthy snacks, meals, and resturants. There is also an area where users can share their reviews, images, and interact with each other.

USD BASEBALL For this web project I redesigned the USD club baseball team’s logo and website. The logo’s inspiration came mainly from the team’s old logo and other vintage baseball logos and emblems. The original website was very confusing and unorganized so my main goal was to make the site user friendly, simple, and easy to read. I reorganized the team’s stats, player roster, and other information throughout the five pages of the new site for easier navigation and better user experience.

SWEET PEA For this package design project I created a children’s product and brand called Sweet Pea. I was required to use sustainable materials, package at least three items, and the package itself had to have a secondary function. Each backpack comes with a stuffed sock animal, a set of pajamas, and a book based on the matching stuffed animal. The backpack has an elastic pocket on the front for the stuffed animal to sit in and can be turned inside out to become a small children’s blanket.

BODY BY NATURE Body By Nature is a sustainable package design project. The brand sells all natural bath products including: bar soap, bath salts, and bath bombs. The three main ingredients or categories for Body By Nature include Rosemary, Lavendar, and Peppermint. These plants were a large inspiration for this project. The surface graphics of each of the packages changes based on what main ingredient is used for each product. The products were put into cardboard cylinder packages to maintain the organic and sustainable elements to this brand.
