Applying for Assistance To be considered for tuition assistance, families must submit the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) to SSS along with their most recent Federal Income Tax Form (1040). The PFS must be filed online and can be found at www.nais.org/ financialaid/sss. The fee to file online is $41. SSS calculates the amount of demonstrated need and reports this to DWS. It is important to note that all information reported to DWS by SSS is kept completely confidential. SSS reports this information the Headmaster who keeps all records of tuition assistance. Families are urged to apply as soon as possible. Priority consideration for current families will be given until April 15th. PFS must be completed and submitted to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (with DWS as a designated recipient). For students whose parents are separated or divorced, both parents are required to complete the PFS and Nontaxable Income Worksheet.
Grant Determination, Notification and Renewal After all information is reported back to DWS, the school works with the family to come as close as possible to the amount of need determined by SSS. It is important to note that DWS cannot match the full amount determined by SSS. Each year families must reapply for assistance using the same process.
For additional information please contact Dave Davies at 4351301 or email@example.com. We look forward to having you join the DWS Family!
