MES S AGE FROM THE KPU FOUNDATION CHAIR On behalf of the KPU Foundation and its directors, I wish to share how very proud we are of the resiliency shown by KPU and its students this past year. The University showed innovation in its adaptation to remote learning as it became necessary and was unwavering in its commitment to support KPU students through these uncertain times. Most importantly, we are so very grateful to our donors, who continue to ensure that financial barriers are not preventing access to a quality education.

As Chair of the KPU Foundation Board and a proud alumna of the newly named Melville School of Business, I am pleased to present to you our 2021 Annual Report. You will find that thanks to you, our generous donors, our endowment has grown substantially to nearly $40 million. I would like to acknowledge our Finance and Investment Committee, who do a tremendous job in overseeing and stewarding your investment in KPU students. I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Randall Heidt, KPU’s new Vice President, External Affairs. We installed Randall as Foundation CEO at our Annual General Meeting on September 13, 2021. It has been a long and trying time for all of us. We look forward to a time where we can hold more in-person events and see you again and introduce you to the many great KPU students who have benefited from your philanthropy.
