Research at KTU Facts & Figures • KTU is a founder of two integrated Science, Studies and Business Centres (Valleys): SANTAKA and NEMUNAS. • In 2007-2011, researchers of the University carried out 33 Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) projects, 17 EUREKA projects; 3 EUROSTARS projects and 39 COST projects; published over 1460 articles referred in Thomson Reuters Web of Knowledge database with citation index. • KTU is a publisher of five scientific journals: “Electronics and Electrical Engineering“, “Information Technology and Control“, “Mechanika“, “Materials Science“, “Engineering Economics“ which have an Impact factor in the Thomson Reuters Web of Knowledge database. • Currently, almost 500 doctoral students are studying at KTU.
