Dear Filmmakers, We are pleased to welcome you to the sixth annual Filmmaker’s Summit and the twelfth annual Berkshire International Film Festival! The BIFF aims to foster a community-wide attitude that will allow filmmakers, directors, writers and actors an encouraging environment to collaborate, present their work, and interact with each other and with film audiences. It is in support of this aim that the Filmmakers Summit was developed six years ago as a nurturing, creative space for filmmakers and industry professionals to come together in the spirit of collaboration, discussion, and continued growth. The Filmmakers Summit is an integral part of the festival experience for filmmakers, ensuring the freshest and most poignant dialogue in conjunction with unique events with Douglas Trumbull and Sheila Nevins.
