goodbye edition :-(
President — Lauren Navarro Hello Kaibigans! There are absolutely no words that could equate to how grateful I am to everyone who has played a part in this eventful, groundbreaking semester. We have set multiple precedents for the years to come and I am immensely thankful and simultaneously humbled to have served as your President for this Spring 2016 semester. I am a person of selective words and I do not wish to repeat my PCN Program address, so simply put, Thank You. Thank you to the wonderful general members that have entered this semester and than you to those of you who have persevered through the years and stayed with us. Whether or not you know it, you have made the impossible possible. From the AKA that was three weeks earlier than normal, to the PCN that was accomplished in 6 weeks, to the unorthodox general meetings, you general members have played an integral part in absolutely everything. I only hope you enjoyed the semester as thoroughly as possible and gained new knowledge about yourself and your culture. Thank you to Spring 2016 board for alleviating the pressure and making my job easy since day one. I have seen tremendous growth in every single one of you and it makes me so proud knowing many of you are continuing your career in PASA. Be proud of all your accomplishments, the semester would not have been the same without all of you. Despite my time ending as President, I will always be present as a resource for all of you, as a friend and as a reservoir of educational and cultural knowledge. Have a wonderful summer and best wishes to the Fall 2016 board! Internal Vice President — Hansel Domingo Hi PASA! I am so proud of everyone here that came out during this semester and gave their hearts out for all the events we had this year, especially PCN. Everyone did a great job for PCN! Thanks for making this semester one for the books! Peace out... Bye forever... Really bye. External Vice President — Tim Giron Look we gotta talk. Dang I know, I know it’s just… It’s just… Some things I gotta get of my chest alright…. Yeahhhh… Whoa, whoa, whoa, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, oh, whoa… Listen.. Baby come here and sit down, let’s talk I got a lot to say so I guess I’ll start by saying that I love you, but you know, this thing ain’t been no walk in the park for us. I swear it’ll only take a minute. You’ll understand when I finish, yeah. And I don’t wanna see you cry but I don’t wanna be the one to tell you a lie so...
How do you let it go? When you, you just don’t know? What’s on the other side of the door when you’re walking out, talk about it. Everything I tried to remember to say just went out my head. I’ma do the best I can to get you to understand ‘cause I know there’s never a right time to say goodby but I gotta make the first move ‘cause if I don’t you gonna start hating me. cause I really don’t feel the way I once felt about you. girl it’s not you, it’s me. I kinda gotta figure out what I need (oh). There’s never a right time to say goodbye but we know that we gotta go our separate ways and I know it’s hard but I gotta do it, and it’s killing me cause there’s never a right time right time to say goodbye...
my excitement rubs off on you all and if you need help getting hyped for the fall then come to me, go to my apartment, get lunch with me, or schedule a Disney date with me! Pero like yeah, enjoy the rest of your summer and mentally prepare yourself for the hypeness and amazingness that will happen next fall.
Secretary — Natalie Nuesca Hi, PASA! I hope you all had a wonderful semester. I hope you remember the happiness you felt when you picked up an ading or got picked up by an ate or kuya. I hope you remember the long days and late nights we spent together and all the friends who you can now call your family. I hope you remember the butterflies you got before we went onto the PCN stage and the feeling of finally getting to show your family and friends all of the hard work you put into the restless nights of hell week. I enjoyed every single moment I shared with you and I will cherish these memories forever. I can’t wait to see you all again this fall. Have an amazing summer! You deserve it.
Co-FG Coordinator - Cristelle Ligasan Hello everyone! You’re Friendship Games Co-Coordinator Cristelle here. I can’t believe how fast this semester flew by. I hope you guys enjoyed the wonderful events that my fellow boardies planned out over the past couple of months. PCN is always the highlight of Spring semester for me because nothing beats the bond that you make with people when you pretty much live all together during hell weeks. Also this year, I was fortunate enough to be one of the captains for Tiniks and I am so lucky to have gotten closer to a lot of people. I am incredibly proud of each and everyone of them for all the hard work that they’ve put into the show. Now that PCN is over, It’s FG season!!!!! I can’t wait to see you guys come back in the Fall and I hope that you all participate in games, S.P.U.F., roll call, IP, and so much more! I guarantee you that it’s going to be AWESOMEEEE!! I SERIOUSLY CAN’T WAIT BECAUSE I’M THIS EXCITED!!!! Anyways, I hope you enjoy you’re summer break! Love, your FG Co-Coordinator, Cristelle <3
Treasurer — Elijah DelaCruz Well here it is PASA, I bid you all farewell. It truly has been a pleasure serving as your guys’ treasurer this semester & collecting all of yallz’ money. I deeply apologize that I couldn’t have been present in as many events as I wanted to have been, but I knew the club was in good hands & having fun nonetheless. As old PASA continues being old and new PASA takes their turn with leading the club, I wish them the best in their duties. I can’t wait to see what they all have in store for the future of the club. It’s been a great 3 years being a part of such a great organization, but it’s time that I move on & focus on other things. As always, “Bye, welcome!” Co-FG Coordinator — Antonio Faustino WAZZ GUD KAIBIGANS, This semester and the 29th Annual PCN was so dope and I hope you all enjoyed every minute of it! Make sure you stay for the fall and for FRIENDSHIP GAMES 31! You best believe that Friendship Games 31 is going to be an amazing event and the journey to it is going to be really fun! Stay tuned on the PASA page because there’s going to be some fun socials to help lead us into the new semester! I’m using hella exclamation points because I love this club and I love Friendship Games. I hope
Shoutout to my Protective Line, Siopao Family, VSF14, and my before anyone else, Celina Saludes! It is currently May 2016 and to answer the question of “How Far We Are” to FG, we have 5 more months until October 22, 2016. YOU GUYS I’M SO EXCITED FOR FG. K BYE.
*Shout out to MYX Line, My Tiniks co-captains, Crystal Swagner, my FG Co-Coordinator, and my Kuya Tim for all the help and advice that they’ve given me throughout this semester.* PCN Coordinator — Matt Martinez Hi PASA, if you’re reading this, it means Spring 2016 has ended and some of us will be going our own ways, for now. I yearn for the day I see each and everyone one of you again and pray that it will be soon. You’ve become more than my greatest friends, but my family as well, and will always be. This past semester has been a challenge for all of us, but I’ve seen each and every one of you come out a better person. Who knew we’d pull off an amazing PCN in six weeks and grow so close together. I cannot thank you all for how much you have done for me, I am eternally grateful. One day, we’ll all come together and look back at how
much fun we all had. Until then, just know I’ll always be with you, no matter how far we are. Love, Matt. PCN Dance Coordinator — Armyn Padilla What rhymes with Burong Talooo? TOMORROWWW! I’m going to miss making up dumb jokes to tell you guys and creating hair tutorials for you all. I can’t thank you all enough for making this semester worth every struggle we encountered. I never doubted this club and the potential it had, regardless of the situation we were put in. What club can say that they succeeded in producing a large production in a matter of 6 weeks? Although it wasn’t the ideal, I knew that we, as a club and a team, could get through the 6 weeks we were given. I am so incredibly proud of the way you all handled it and for how everything turned out. I hope you can look back at this experience and remember small and big memories with your friends and family and realize that you created all of it. Matt and I were merely just there to guide you when you needed us but it was you that made the show. It was you that made everything happen. PCN 29 will forever live because of you. Thank you for coming along with the rest of your PASA members and I throughout this crazy journey and thank you for making my dreams and ideas come alive. I cannot express my appreciation and gratitude enough. I owe it all to you. Community Advocacy Cultural Chair — Dean Malimban Hi PASA!! Well, I wish this semester went slower but we made it out alive. haha it was bittersweet ending, but I feel that we grew closer with people we got to know. It is still not too late for those that have not gotten know one another. You got all summer to rejuvenate and come back strong. Welp peace out. See next semester. haha Social Chair — Razelyn Montalbo Hi PASA! It’s that time of the year where we
have to say goodbye. So bye. LOL jk! It has truly been an honor to be your guys’ Social chair this semester. I hope you guys had a wonderful semester in PASA, finding your Ate/Kuya/Ading, spending countless hours together during PCN hell weeks, and just building so many new relationships as well as furthering old ones. Thank you for all being wonderful people, making this semester one of the best semesters I’ve experienced so far. I hope you all continue to be active in PASA, and if it’s your last, I hope the journey to wherever you go becomes a rewarding one. under this board and IP as Artistic Director this semester! I just want to give a huge thank you to everyone in PASA for all the support within this club. We’ve done amazing things this semester, especially through PCN. Without the support and dedication all the members have put in, we wouldn’t have ad the amazing production that we have been able to put together in only 6 weeks. this semester I had the pleasure of captaining Burong Talo with the best looking guy in PASA Ethan Andaya. Being on board has also helped me grow as both an individual and leader Who knew that I would become a board member and so involved with the club in such a short amount of time! I’ve gained many experiences with Spring 2016 board and I wish them nothing but the best! I want to keep this short and simple, so thanks for everything PASA/IP! Coming into CSUF as a first year college student I wouldn’t have imagined to become a board member, and yet you guys as a club have definitely continued to inspire me from day one. I’m genuinely thankful for everything that has happened, and I’m faithful for what the future will bring to us all. To those who are leaving, I wish you nothing but the best for where life takes you. As the semester comes to a close, I can’t await for what the future entails. Peace out mothafuckas!
