Animals (except for service animals), bicycles, skateboards, skate shoes, or inline skates are not permitted. Members or guests using the facility under the influence of alcohol or drugs may have their membership revoked or modified indefinitely. Strollers not allowed on the walking track Monday–Thursday from 5–7pm.

KROC NOTICE: LOWER LEVEL & POOL SHUTDOWN BEGINS JULY 12 As you may be aware, we have been working through a number of HVAC system issues in our lower level. In order to address these problems, the Kroc Center will shut down the entire lower floor of our facility beginning Monday, July 12 for renovations. The Salvation Army anticipates the work to take up to two months to complete. During this period, we have coordinated a number of options for our members to lessen the impact this shutdown will have on your member experience.

A limited offering of fitness classes will be moved to the main and upper floors of The Kroc Center. Please see page 5 for class options and times. We have also made arrangements with Quincy University’s Health and Fitness Center to move our swim lesson program to their pool facility during this period. Kroc Center members will also have access to Quincy University’s pool during their open swim hours and may attend their aqua fitness classes. Kroc Center members simply need to sign in at Quincy University’s Check-In Desk to gain access to their facility. Please see page 4 or KrocQuincy.org to view QU's facility hours.

Unfortunately, members will not have access to the Kroc Center locker rooms or cabanas during this time. We ask that our members who have a rental locker on our lower level remove their personal belongings from their locker prior to July 12. To account for this inconvenience, we will extend all locker rentals by two months for the loss of this service for those impacted members. Day use lockers will be available to store your belongings during your workout, however, they will need to be removed each day as we do not have enough day use lockers to account for all rental locker customers.

Although we fully understand the frustration surrounding this and the other renovations our building has undergone in the past few years, please know that this work is for the long-term benefit of our members and our community as a whole. Thank you for your patience, understanding and commitment to The Salvation Army Kroc Center. MEET MAJORS MCCLINTOCK! Greetings from your new Majors! Let us introduce ourselves. We are Majors Trevor and Rochelle (Shelley) McClintock and we are excited to be a part of this beautiful Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center! We have been officers in The Salvation Army for 20 years and served in many different communities, most recently in Omaha, Nebraska. “We have heard so many great things about our new appointment. We look forward to making new friends and being a part of this community”, states Major Rochelle.

The McClintocks met and married in Aberdeen, South Dakota, while attending Northern State University. Major Rochelle is from Spearfish, South Dakota and Major Trevor hails from Wichita, Kansas. The couple has been married for 23 years. The McClintocks have three adult children. Their son, Landon and his wife Megan are cadets at The Salvation Army’s College for Officer’s Training in Chicago, Illinois. Their daughter, Hannah, and son, Connor, work and live in Omaha, Nebraska. The McClintocks enjoy spending time with their family, traveling, visiting parks, bird-watching, golf, and playing games.

Major Rochelle holds a BA in Elementary and Special Education from Northern State University. Major Trevor holds a BA in Ministry in Leadership and Ethics from Nazarene Bible College. The two enjoy working together as their gifts and skills go hand in hand as they serve and lead.“God has gifted the two of us very differently, better equipping us for service and ministry,” stated Major Rochelle. “We are excited to learn and become a part of the community of Quincy and surrounding areas. We look forward to serving alongside a talented and dedicated team. We are looking forward to hitting the ground running on June 30 to lead The Salvation Army here,” Major Trevor shares.

Lifeguards will measure all riders.

Lap Swim Lap lanes are available for lap swimming. Lanes available on a first come-first serve basis. Three adults can fit in one lane-please share. Water jog is allowed (up to 3 lap swimmers). Children must have adult with them in the same lap lane to swim laps. Basketball/volleyball are not available.

Sprays & Fountains Play features: sprays and fountains will be on.

Open Swim Open for all ages. Some spaces may be used temporarily for scheduled classes.
