Print In 2011Print of any kind was huge. It was all about connecting with nature and blending in. Bright prints were used to create interest. People embraced change in the poor economy. Flower, striped and cheetah prints are displayed at both ends. Organic colors Natural organisms and their colors were used to help preserve our earth and the impending end many thought coming due to the Aztec calendar. They matched the colors and made them intence to lighten the spirits as shown in the examples to the right. Vintage colors Vintage colors, and slightly faded colors softened the 2011 look. Backcasting Year 2012

Color Blocking In 2012, in contrast from the year before, color was used in combination with neutral colors. This technique of color blocking provided a new modern and technical look. The pop of color allowed for unique interest on the most basic garments. Industrial Colors People started realizing that the industry was taking over the green in our world and wanted to blend in with that. The browns and greys were used. Fashion in 2013 is completely enchanted by mysticalness. Things such as vampires, and mysterious women with difficult forces have taken over. Black will be very important of course, and with the environmental changes more will try organic colors as well. The main colors used in 2013 will be black, crimson red, purple, dark blue, red violet, and forest green.

Dark Magic and Fantasy take over a 2013 look as this trend is enforeced by many wanting to take the reality and add an edge to it. These bold colors give any outfit a kind of e javascript:void(0); dge. The fact that ones appearance looks a little more intence adds confidence to those who have lacked it in the world of today.

The Look:

Salmon and different mauve shades of pure virtue and divinity make such a refined appeal within many layers of fabric and chiffon that it brings out the beauty.
