Wedding Priorities Worksheet Setting the wedding budget is one of the first decisions about your wedding that you and your fiancé will make together. But how do you know what is appropriate to spend on each new detail of your wedding, and how do you make sure you get the wedding of your dreams without breaking the bank? Sit down with your fiancé and work on your list of priorities. Each of you should fill out this list separately. Items that receive a “not important” on both lists can be dropped from your planning altogether. Items that are “very important” to both of you should be booked early, and you should plan a larger percentage of your budget on them than the items that are only “somewhat important” to either of you.
