Kevin Panko, Group Publisher and CEO The pretty Georgian manor house, all honeyed Bath stone, sits at the end of an avenue of sky-high beech and lime trees, surrounded by gardens like a Jane Austen film set. On the grounds there’s a personable cottage for weekending families, a world-class equestrian center, and a serious cooking school. But you don’t have to whip up your own supper. Chef Hywel Jones plates up exquisite food in his eponymous restaurant. That in itself is a reason to stay. So are the roaring fires, the paneled libraries, the canopied four-poster beds, and the moody oil paintings. A purposeful drive in recent years to make the place feel less formal has resulted in a cheery bounce in the staff’s step, a raising of chatter levels to almost a hum in the evenings, and a relaxed atmosphere where you can wear your robe down to the ESPA spa and back again without feeling like a terrible slob. Eagle-eyed guests will spot the curious Greek elements dotted around— the urns in the bathroom, the Acropolis paintings in the dining room, the Hellenic motif on the plates. This country retreat feels resonant and rooted, delightfully British to the core.

Customized & Cost-Effective Renovations in Lethbridge as variations in the basic design to warrant that there is some degree of difference. This variation is essential since some people dislike having the same appearance as other homes.

Roofing materials come in different types. They are diverse and dependent on which country the house is. In the United States of America, there are a lot of choices for those who are in the process of making their homes or renovating their roofs. Asphalt, Fiberglass, Concrete and Others Asphalt is a substance often made into different kinds of shingles which are in turn used to cover houses. This type of roof has become more popular recently not only because of its agreeable appearance but also because it is by far quite inexpensive compared to other choices. They come in a variety of different colors and blends as well

weight of this substance can be detrimental to the house.

Other than the appearance, the value of this roofing material is also exceptional. Manufacturers can make them sturdy enough to last up to several decades which make for a great value for money.

Metal This substance has been around for a long time and has been used for a long time all over the world. As a roofing option, it is not as sturdy or long lasting as the ones cited above but it can be inexpensive.

Fiberglass shingles are also made with similar designs to the asphalt ones but at a slightly higher cost. They also come with, a decades worth of guarantee and can be more , durable than asphalt if one chooses the higher quality.

Makers of these kinds of roofs have also made them into designs that mimic popular roof designs such as shingles and others. This material is lightweight and can be placed over an existing roof to eliminate the need to break it down.

Concrete tiles can be made to look like shingles and these are also cheap, pretty much the same as asphalt. Real stones can be used but these are the most expensive types of roofing materials compared to others.

Overall, the choice for roofing is the preference of the homeowner as well as the recommendation of the architect. Other considerations in choosing the roof are the cost of the project, the design of the house, the surrounding area of the house and other environmental factors.

Slate is a popular choice for stone shingles. Clay is also another option for this type of roof but the

Children, having gone through these challenges, grow into adults who may have issues with trust, relationships, communication, conflicts, and a host of other concerns. There is hope. That hope is connection.

on Abundant Living Pastor Philip Robe-From Connections in the Turmoil I’ve spoken with many people who have suffered many emotional traumas in childhood and into adulthood. Here are a few events that can significantly affect people, particularly children: • Divorce • Abuse • Bullying The emotional turmoil that results from these and other stressors affects people at the cellular level. Brain development in children is not optimal when going through emotionally difficult times. Just as physical trauma can affect a person for years, so can stressful environmental situations.

If a child can find even just one meaningful connection in the midst of a tumultuous upbringing, there is hope. Like a life-preserver, a child can hang on to a role-model or mentor and survive. Anyone from a sports coach to a music instructor can provide a measure of stability for a child. The same could be said for adults. Facing a personal health scare? Difficult relationship issues? Find someone to connect with to ride out the storm. A friend, a family member, or a group can really help. You don’t have to do it alone. Connect with someone and get through the turmoil crying, laughing, and praying together. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:2

Atregistered Easemassage Therapy therapy Swedish Relaxation, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Reiki, The Alpha Health Environment Capsule

on Auto Detailing on Massage Therapy Kim June? McGlenn (RMT) You frequently hear people say how surprised they are by a diagnosis they’ve received or the development of ailments they are suffering. One comment often made is that there were no warning signs. The truth, however, is not always quite so simple. Our bodies are constantly providing feedback information to us about our health – we simply need to pay attention

and listen to the cues our bodies give regarding the state of our health, and especially to the cues it gives about changes to our health. We all know what our own body feels like when it is healthy and in a state of what we would call normal. We can assess variation to that normal by identifying and recognizing the cues our body provides. These cues can be as subtle as skin irritations, or changes to our handwriting. They may be as obvious as persistent headaches, bowel changes, or sudden mood swings. Once we begin to recognize the signals our body is giving us, we can determine how to respond. Those responses can be as varied as the signals themselves. We might adjust our sleep patterns or take more breaks during the day. We may

change our exercise schedule or the intensity of our exercise activities. We could visit a massage therapist, a chiropractor, a nutritionist, or whomever we feel might be called for. And when in doubt – when we’re not sure how to interpret the cues our body provides, or when our intuition is telling us there may be something more going on – we should certainly visit our doctor. Listening to the cues our bodies give us, is an essential tool in maintaining our health. Taking a few minutes to assess our body’s state and the cues it provides, is something each of us can implement into our daily routines. Recognizing these signals of change could allow us to catch little concerns before they can become major health issues.

We Have Experienced...

Letter from the Publisher

Kevin Panko, Group Publisher and CEO Fifteen years ago, the tragic passing of Bernard Loiseau, one of France’s most iconic chefs, could have meant the end of his legacy. Instead, it led to a new chapter in his budding hospitality empire with his wife, Dominique, at the helm. Over time, she turned the Relais Bernard Loiseau, a five-star Relais & Châteaux hotel and double-Michelin-starred table in the sleepy town of Saulieu into a luxury retreat. But culinary stars are a dwindling draw these days and Madame Loiseau knew she needed something more than exquisite food to entice travelers to stopover for more than a night. Transforming the property’s formerly modest spa into a four-story fantasyland of wellness and organic dining was risky for such a small town but paid off. Villa Loiseau des Sens, the 16,000-square-foot balneotherapy spa is set within a modern, Morvan oak–paneled lodge with all the right amenities: indoor pools, massage alcoves, water bikes, ten treatment rooms, an area dedicated to skin exfoliation, and a laid-back neo-bistro. But it’s the 700-square-foot private spa suite outfitted with a steam room and sauna with panoramic views of the Auxois mountains that make it worth a full weekend escape.

...We Recommend • Free access to the Spa Loiseau des Sens (open from 7am to 11pm). • A heated outdoor pool with free access from May to September. • Room service available throughout the day. • A dry cleaning service (price on re quest). • A mini-bar with products from our delicatessen.

Spa Suite VIP During your stay, enjoy free access to the spa Loiseau des Sens. You will find all the facilities of a beautiful spa: a large duo treatment cabin, a hammam, a sauna and a balneo are cleverly arranged in the suite in the heart of which sits a majestic fireplace contemporary. All the place is cladded in wood and entirely glazed on the outside to invite you to fully experience this interlude of softness in the refreshing setting of Auxois-Morvan. This cocoon offers all the comfort and authenticity for an unforgettable stay. Champagne, mini fours, room service are available for a day, a half day or overnight stay for two people. Perfect for very private romantic moments or a honeymoon !
