Losing weight doesn't have to be so hard, in fact it can be downright easy. All you need to do is worth on caloric deficit, or eating less. Yes, yes, you've heard this before and you don't find it helpful. But I will explain to you what I mean by this. What I mean by caloric deficit, is basically finding out how many calories it takes to maintain your current weight and eating 500 less calories per day to lose 1 pound of fat a week. It's really that simple. The best part about this is the simplicity. You don't have to worry about low carb high fat or high carb low fat - you just need to find out the foods that are carrying the most calories and start cutting some of those calories out. An interesting point is that you'll find that many of the foods that carry the most calories, like pasta, are also high carb. I don't know why this is, but it's just an interesting point. The second thing you need to do to lose weight fast is exercise. Exercising will help get your metabolism going, improve how you feel, and help you stick to your diet to start with. A few things you should know though is that: 1. Not all exercises are equal. 2. Some exercises might trigger a lot of hunger. 3. Walking is one of the best exercises for overall health. As far as exercises go, in general I would recommend swimming - but some people get a major appetite from it. If you're not able to control your eating after a swim, I suggest skipping it otherwise it's great. Another thing I would suggest is doing a lot of walking. It's good for your body and studies have been shown that people who walk a lot live longer. I recommend bringing some audio discs or something to listen to, or just taking a look at your surroundings. Taking the time to look around can be helpful to put things into perspective: Like Ferris said in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop to look around once in awhile, you could miss it." Good luck!
