– Да, понятия «черное» и «белое» применимы всегда и везде. Но любое творчество – это путь. Театр вообще – забег на длинную дистанцию, и ставить оценки здесь недопустимо. Сегодня спектакль хороший, завтра – плохой, послезавтра – снова не очень. А потом все опять налаживается. Режиссер, как каждый из нас, растет, меняется. Другое дело, есть ленивые, пьющие или те, кто выбрал за основу существования деньги. Режиссуре, как и любой профессии, как и любой сфере искусства, можно научиться. Это же сумма приемов и технологий, но она не говорит о главном – о мировоззрении художника. Здесь категории «плохой» и «хороший» уходят на иные уровни. На игле – Например, пить – нехорошо, а хорошо пить – плохо? – Употребляют если не все, то многие. И творческие натуры, и нетворческие. И бедные, и богатые, и среднего достатка – тоже. Я полмира объездил – везде пьют. Почему? Это большая и серьезная тайна даже для меня.
