Polish Impact is a humorous guide to experimental, digital, and otherwise unconventional Polish literature and creative writing. The larger than life figure of Ubu Le Roi boastfully shows foreign audiences round his extravagant kingdom where creativity mixes with incredible anecdotes and little known literary titbits. Prepared for the Electronic Literature Festival and Conference in Bergen, Norway, in 2015, it offers an overview of liberature, digital literature, social media gamelike activities, generative literary machines, conceptual writing as old as the 18th century, and cyberhoboes as new as can be, in a series of snapshots and mini-articles. It also presents a few foreign writers whose links with Polish culture, though little know, are deep, and feature in their works. The second, expanded version of the brochure includes the programme of New York 2015 edition of Ha!wangarda Festlab of Experimental Literature, with the catalogue of liberature, bookart and e-lit exhibition.
