The Address Downtown Dubai
About Indian Ocean, United Arab Emirates & Oman Jewels of the Indian Ocean and Middle East, the Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius, and Dubai offer some of the most exceptional and luxurious resorts – and unforgettable holiday experiences – anywhere in the world. Maldives is a collection of small, flat, coral islands that offer spectacular beaches and sensational snorkeling and diving. Each luxury resort is on its own island, which collectively boast the world’s best over-water villas, innovative resort features, and first-class spa facilities. Seychelles’ picturesque tropical scenery is due to its unique granite-island group. Huge granite boulders lining white-sand beaches create breathtaking visuals found only in the Seychelles. In addition to stunning shorelines, island hopping yields rare flora and fauna, pristine rain forests, and wonderful people. Mauritius differentiates itself as a large, volcanic island with rugged mountain peaks leading down to an azure lagoon that encircles the island. With numerous posh resorts raising the standards of luxury, Mauritian properties continually offer greater levels of service and amenities. Dubai and the surrounding areas of Abu Dhabi and the Musandam Peninsula in Oman are fast becoming the global destination for extravagant holidays, and seemingly no expense has been spared in the construction of its excellent resorts. With a tranquil desert backdrop, beaches galore, the World’s tallest building, duty free shopping, gold and spice souks, and even an indoor ski facility, Dubai offers an unmatched blend of culture and adventure.

Icons Style of Luxury An influx of extraordinary resorts throughout the Indian Ocean and Dubai has set new standards of luxury over the last few years. Choosing the right resort is now more important than ever as architecture, dĂŠcor, facilities, size, and service combine to produce unique and very distinctive properties. Three equally exceptional, yet completely different types of luxury resorts have emerged and we call them: Elegant, Modern, and Barefoot.

Modern Chic and trendy places to stay, these resorts feature rooms with cutting edge design and fashionable dĂŠcor.
Barefoot Smaller boutique resorts that are environmentally friendly, these intimate properties offer a more relaxed and casual atmosphere.

Located southwest of India, the Maldives is a group of nearly 1,200 small coral islands that form an archipelago of 26 atolls spread out over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Powder-soft beaches with spectacular ocean views lead to beautiful lagoons, and beneath the water, the coral coastline forms an intricate underwater paradise resplendent with marine life. With its warm temperatures and exceptional clarity, the water off the Maldivian coasts is renowned for breathtaking snorkeling and diving spots.
Options for transferring to resorts are based on distance, and short jaunts from the airport are achieved via speedboat or yacht, while resorts further out are reached by seaplane or domestic flight. Flights most often go through London, Dubai, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Bangkok and Qatar, though there are flights from other cities in Europe and Asia as well.

Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa FOSTERING NATURE With stars from two hemispheres dotting the clear night sky, Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa enjoys a variety of natural gifts from its location just north of the equator. Situated on a remote island in the secluded North Huvadhoo Atoll – a previously untouched southern portion of the Maldives – the resort’s central lagoon plunges nearly 300 feet. It is believed to be one of the largest and deepest natural atolls in the world, offering exceptional bio-diversity for experienced divers. To help maintain the island’s unspoiled treasures, Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa built its resort with great care, adhering to the standards for Green Globe certification. Nowhere is this more evident than in the meticulously detailed villas, which seamlessly blend cool, contemporary style with natural ambience. Nestled within the carefully preserved vegetation are 16 Park Villas and 20 Park Pool Villas, and an additional 14 Park Water Villas are perched above the ocean – each the perfect vantage point for dazzling sunsets and star-studded skies.
EXCEPTIONAL MARINE LIFE Underneath the waves, long stretches of pristine coral reefs allow for breathtaking snorkeling and diving unequalled by other locations in the Maldives. Still new to visitors, the marine life is delightfully curious and sightings have included blue marlins, giant groupers, moray eels, and manta and eagle rays.

Shangri-La's Villingili Resort and Spa, Maldives
LUXURY SOUTH OF THE EQUATOR The first luxury resort to establish itself south of the equator, Shangri-La's Villingili Resort and Spa makes its home in the heart-shaped Addu Atoll, which boasts some of the biggest islands in the Maldives. Rimming grand Villingili is a stunning coral reef formation that is also the largest in the country. The resort offers sizeable beach and over-water villas where touches of Middle Eastern and South Asian elements help set a serene mood. All land villas, even those perched on stilts high among the treetops, come with their own private pools. MEANDERING NATURE TRAILS Snorkeling gardens in the resort's house reef beckon explorers. For diving enthusiasts, there are also more than 25 dive sites teeming with marine life, including the dramatic 360-foot British Loyalty shipwreck just a half-hour boat ride away. Soft and hard coral cover the ship’s hull, nearly 110 feet below the ocean surface, while blue fin tuna and sea turtles make the deck a regular hangout. On dry land, guests can explore Villingili by bicycle via an extensive network of trails that weave through the jungle-like interior. For a longer jaunt, tour the five neighboring islands connected by a 10-mile road – the longest in the Maldives. The resort is also home to the Maldives' first true golf course, a nine-hole course at the tip of the island where spectacular sights await.
Gili Lankanfushi Maldives
A TROPICAL OASIS IN ECOLOGICAL BALANCE Gili Lankanfushi Maldives practiced sustainable living well before being ‘green’ came into vogue. Every aspect of the resort – from the well-appointed residences to the over-water Meera Spa – is designed to embrace the natural beauty of the surroundings and provide you with an experience as relaxing as the warm blue-green water that laps against the island's shores. Just 20 minutes from the Malé International Airport and accessible by speedboat, Gili Lankanfushi Maldives boasts the largest over-water villas in the world, with none smaller than 2,200 sq. ft. If additional privacy is your desire, eight of the over-water residences are freestanding in the lagoon and are accessible only by boat. EMBRACE SUSTAINABLE LIVING Gili Lankanfushi Maldives created its tropical oasis in reverence to the ecological balance of the island. It uses sustainable woods, natural materials and traditional fabrics to recreate the island’s natural habitat while offering the modern-day amenities and creature comforts of true luxury. The resort grows its own organic herbs and vegetables, which add vibrant flavor to the fresh menus at its delicious eateries. Additionally, the underground wine cellar, with cheese room and chocolate cave, hosts a resident sommelier as well as visiting experts. It’s a must-try as a standalone meal or a complement to your epicurean adventure.

In every villa, décor is sleek and elegantly tropical, using beautiful materials and contemporary styling.
The One&Only Spa – set apart on its own stretch of island shore – has more than 100,000 sq. ft. of space to relax and rejuvenate, and its over-water Chi pavilion will take any Yoga or Tai Chi session to a whole new level of spirituality. The ultimate in barefoot sophistication, the setting beckons vacationing honeymooners as well as families in search of island adventures. Employing ‘no news, no shoes’ as its motto, the resort takes relaxation very seriously. With a large underground wine cellar, jungle treetop restaurant, organic fruit and vegetable garden, observatory and outdoor cinema, guests are never lacking for things to do. For a special treat, make sure to visit the bar built over the coral reef – it offers both an enticing sunset view and an excellent snorkeling spot. Soneva Fushi has also invested considerably in maintaining the island’s natural state such that riding around on a bicycle feels like journeying through a lush jungle.
CASTAWAY FANTASY The variety of accommodations located on the beach, all with views of the surrounding lagoon, captures the essence of a Robinson Crusoe castaway fantasy. Several villas offer private pools, and both the Jungle Reserve and The Retreat are amongst the largest villas in the Maldives.

Private and intimate all at once...
Cocoa Island INTIMATE GETAWAY To hole up at Cocoa Island is to discover escapism, or sweet serenity under a reliable sun. Private and intimate all at once, the resort is removed from the noise of modern living but focuses on satisfying every need, attending to every detail, and soothing away the stresses that belong to another life. Villas are inspired by dhoni boats, as used by local fishermen, and are adjoined to the island by a simple series of wooden walkways built above the shallow ocean. From your dhoni, the view from the wide platform bed is directly out to the watery expanse, and the bathrooms – all with double sinks, a bath and shower – share horizon views. After an afternoon of sunbathing on your private terrace, abandon the chaise for the warm Maldivian sea via the ladder access just off your sundeck.
Doing absolutely nothing is completely acceptable at Cocoa Island, and the relaxed atmosphere and accommodating staff are ideal enablers. But for diving enthusiasts one of the best areas in the Maldives, Kandooma Channel, sits off the west side of the island and offers numerous diving sites populated with manta rays, green turtles and a myriad of reef fish. On the other side, grab a snorkel and fins to enjoy the quiet reef flanked by a curl of soft, alabaster beach that tapers into a spit of sand.
Taj Exotica Resort & Spa
A SUMPTUOUS TREAT FOR THE SENSES Taj Exotica resides on the tropical isle Emboodhu Finolhu – once known as the Three Coconut Island – that sits in one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives. Surrounded by stunningly clear ocean water, this long sliver of island offers elegantly appointed villas suited with the latest modern conveniences. With just a few beach villas, most accommodations at Taj Exotica are over-water (with or without freshwater plunge pools), connected in an elaborate jetty design to give each residence access to the lagoon and island services. The Rehendhi Presidential Suite offers a spacious, two-room villa to guests that require additional privacy. The main pool area is a popular place to pass the day with its spectacular lagoon views. Or take advantage of the enormous lagoon and spend the time swimming and snorkeling in its turquoise warmth. With its creative fresh seafood and vegetarian dishes, the Deep End over-water restaurant is another Taj highlight, as is the Jiva Grande Spa, which among other rejuvenating therapies offers a semi-outdoor suite with luxury Hammam. The signature Alepa treatment makes good use of the Hamman to open and detoxify pores, followed by your choice of therapeutic mud preparations to soften skin. An outdoor waterfall rinses you clean, and you'll leave feeling relaxed and balanced.

Island Hideaway UNTOUCHED NATURAL LANDSCAPE If you’ve ever wanted to be lost on a deserted island in a far off place of the world, Island Hideaway is an ideal spot. Located in the remote Haa Alifu Atoll in the north Maldives, this luxury boutique resort is built on the virgin island of Dhonakulhi, a crescent-shaped isle large by Maldivian standards. The ample space allows Island Hideaway to offer its guests the largest and most secluded beach villas of any resort in the area – a privacy premium for guests who desire undisturbed relaxation. Most of the island was left untouched during building and thus, the island is lush and spectacularly beautiful.
A RUSTIC CELEBRATION OF NATURE The resort is a rustic celebration of nature with custom-made, hand-finished natural materials used throughout. Due to the unique coral formation around the island, the resort boasts a state-of-the-art, fully equipped marina. Additionally, these intricate coral expanses offer guests some of the most untouched snorkeling and diving spots around. Island Hideaway’s exceptional levels of attention to detail are obvious in the residencies as well as the restaurants, spa and service. Using influences from China, Thailand, India, Arabia and the Mediterranean, the spa menu is perhaps only slightly less worldly than its happy visitors.
The Beach House Maldives SECLUDED INDULGENCE Sitting on Manafaru, a private island in the Haa Alifu Atoll, The Beach House Maldives is surrounded by a colorful coral reef perfect for soaking, snorkeling or just admiring from your villa. The Beach House Maldives' well-appointed villas, both beach and over-water, enjoy the use of their own private pools, outdoor dining areas and the services of a villa host who will tend to guests’ every need. CULINARY DELIGHTS Gourmet meals prepared fresh by The Beach House Maldives’ international chefs are available at the resort’s delightful eateries – Medium Rare, an international grill, and Saffron, serving Asianfusion fare – or can be enjoyed beachside, served on a private island or on the romantic 30 Degrees over-water pavilion. DE'SPA The resort’s De'Spa is surrounded by lush vegetation and features treatment rooms dotted intermittently throughout the tropical foliage. A must-try treatment is the signature Maldivian Sand Massage. Relax as a therapist massages away any aches with pure Maldivian coconut oil, followed by a white sea salt sand exfoliation – an invigorating experience using nature's local gifts.
