How to care for your Planner: Your Australian Teachers Chronicle has been produced with a level of excellence and craftsmanship to withstand daily use. Please handle it with care. Please do not: • Store pens, pencils or any other item inside the wire spine. • Store loose inserts or glue other pages into your diary. This may cause the loops to pull apart and pages may fall out. • Store other books on top of the planner. This may cause the wire to be crushed or distorted which will affect the opening and closing of the diary. Our diaries are PEFC certified ensuring the world’s forests are managed sustainably and that their function is protected for present and future generations. PEFC – Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification PEFC provides an assurance that the timber and paper products you are buying come from legal and sustainable sources. 1. No more wood is harvested than is re-grown. 2. Trees are replanted or naturally regenerated after harvesting. 3. Workers’ rights and welfare are protected. 4. Local employment is encouraged. 5. Indigenous peoples’ and owners’ rights i.e. those who earn their livelihood from and/or live in the forest, are replaced. 6. Forests are maintained as habitats for the wild animals and plants. 7. Functions of forests for the protection of water, soil and climate are protected. 8. Biodiversity of forest ecosystems is conserved. 9. The origin of the wood raw material is verified.
