ABLE SERVICES & ® GED CLASSES Career Readiness

What is ABLE? ABLE classes are for adults who want to improve their math, reading and writing skills in order to find a job, prepare for job training programs or for college. ABLE also prepares those who want their GED®.

Who May Enroll in ABLE/GED ® classes?

Is attendance required? Yes. Adults who enroll in ABLE classes are expected to attend classes whenever they are held.

ABLE classes are FREE to all eligible adults. Students who are 16, 17 and 18 years old must have an official withdrawal documentation from their home school district or evidence of a high school diploma.

How long will this program take? Although it takes time to learn and master any skill, the exact length of the program depends on the individual. Students write their own goals and ABLE staff members help guide the students through until those goals are met.
