In the absence of our pastor, who is attending the National CBF General Assembly Meeting in Texas (CBF is covering the total cost of this trip), we welcome to our pulpit today Rev. TerryMichael Newell. Rev. Newell works in private practice as a pastoral counselor offering therapy to individuals, couples and families. He has served as Campus Minister at Campbell University, Pastor for Congregational Care at Zebulon Baptist Church and Resident Chaplain for WakeMed Health and Hospitals. He and his family live in Zebulon. Please give Rev. Newell a warm KBC welcome!

Preparation for Worship God guides us through life’s storms, and the psalmist calls us to “extol him in the congregation of the people” (Psalm 107:32, NRSV). We praise you, God, for being our safe haven.

Also, if you have a change in the schedule for the children’s nursery or children’s church, please contact the monthly coordinator so that the change can be made prior to the printing of the worship bulletin. However, any permanent changes in the schedule should continue to be handled by the lead coordinator. Thank you for all your help.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms.
