Postępowanie chirurgiczne w urazach klatki piersiowej w doświadczeniu jednoośrodkowym
piersiowej. Materiał kliniczny stanowiło 66 (24,2%) kobiet oraz 207 (75,8%) mężczyzn w wieku od 17 do 85 lat – średnio 34,9. W 107 przypadkach (39,2%) był to uraz izolowany klatki piersiowej, natomiast u pozostałych 166 (60,8%) wielonarządowy i wielomiejscowy. U 50 (18,3%) chorych rozpoznano uraz ostry, a u pozostałych 223 (81,7%) tępy. WYNIKI Przyczyny obrażeń klatki piersiowej przedstawiono w tab. 1. Najczęstszym urazowym uszkodzeniem klatki piersiowej jest złamanie żeber i ich następstwa. Rodzaje obrażeń klatki piersiowej zestawiono w tab. 2. Wymienione w tab. 2 różne rodzaje uszkodzeń ścian klatki piersiowej, jak i narządów w niej zawartych, występowały oddzielnie jak i łącznie, jak również towarzyszyły obrażeniom innych narządów i układów. Najczęściej występujące obrażenia towarzyszące urazom klatki piersiowej w naszym materiale przedstawia tab. 3.
penetrating trauma, while 223 (81.7%) had a blunt trauma. RESULTS The causes of thoracic trauma are shown in tab. 1. The most common chest injury is rib fracture and its complications. The kinds of chest traumas are listed in tab. 2. These kinds of chest wall and thoracic cavity organ traumas appeared separately or coexisted with other systemic or organ traumas. Below (tab. 3) are listed the most common injuries coexisting with thoracic trauma in our study. From the data in tab. 2 and 3, it seems that most of the patients require specialized surgical treatment, but different coexisting injuries make that number slightly lower. The methods of treatment thoracic traumas are shown in tab. 4. An analysis of each patient’s precise medical documentation showed that 176 patients (64.5%) needed specialized surgical treatment,
