Colophon: Photographs taken and edited with Photoshop by Kiara Galicinao (outer page images in Lahaina, Hawai’i; inner page images in Eugene, Oregon). Found text acquired from paper and digital magazines. Cover designed with Illustrator and laser cut onto plywood. Body pages organized with InDesign and printed on cardstock. Pages bound accordion-style at spine with cardstock. Artist Statement: This book serves the purpose of connecting two very different places. The described beauty of Hawai’i is represented by Oregon’s luscious nature. Appreciation is enhanced for my hometown of Lahaina and my new home of Eugene.
