What Else Can You Do At Papakura High School?

• A wide range of co-curricular activities are offered including: Cultural activities such as drama, cultural dance groups, debating, band, choir, theatre sports and music. Sporting activities such as rugby, netball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, hockey, softball, cricket, touch rugby, tennis, swimming, badminton. • International students are encouraged to take part in all areas of school life.

Where Do Students Live? • Students live in a home-stay with a New Zealand family. • This helps students to feel comfortable in a new culture and quickly improve their English. • Most homes will be a stand alone house with a garden. The student will have their own bedroom. • The student will become part of the family. • Most home-stays will have a computer. • The student will be able to walk to school or take a short bus journey.
