Thanksgiving Day Parade. The Parade travels almost 5 km, entertaining a crowd of over 150,000 cheering spectators and is enjoyed nationally on the CTV Network by over a million viewers. A highlight is the Parade’s Grand Marshall whose identity remains top secret until just prior to the start of the Festival. Welcome to the Wunderbar world of arm wrestling. This tournament is sanctioned by the Ontario Arm Wrestling Association (OAA) and is a double elimination. The day will start with “supermatches”, which means there will be some intense battles for ranking positions. There will also be some grip strength demonstrations. Games will be played on ball diamonds in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Wilmot area. The tournament is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2016.
