The road width seen in the sections decrease drastically from section 1-1 all the way down to section 13-13. Following this (sectio 10-10) the traditional look of the town is noticed, with the low rise mangalore tiled houses,with a commercial space towards the road. There is also a very strong contrast of structures within the town.

- The growth of the town is linear, along the national highway.This is the only main access to the town.The road is very narrow has lead to congestion. - All the commercial buildings are newely developed in past 20 years. - Many new high raised buildings have come up aroud the market area. Section of commercial shop-2 - Market area is the most densely populated area. - City development is around the market area. - The service road b/w NH66 and NH 169, which connects moodabidri and karkala,does not seem to serve its purpose. The width of the road is less then 7m. This narrow space makes it difficult for the vehicle to pass through.

The market has Three entrances.First one is located at the west side of the site which opens to the parking area. Most of the goods are came through this gate. Second one is in South side of the market. This is the main pedestrain entry. This enters the market from NH 13 Mangalore - Solapur highway. And the third entrance is on north side of the site.This is the entry to the fish market which is facing the kadalkare road. No. of people entring to the market on Friday

The amphitheatre is centrally placed where it acts as a focus point in the campus and also people can enjoy performance or activity happening in the theatre .The amphitheatre is designed for a capacity of 500 people.
