Deriving a lot of socio cultural activities and influences being directly dictated by their profession of artisanal fishing, the day to day activities have a large impact on their architecture as well. As they are an artisanal fishing community, the large family numbers, segregated into smaller clustered houses, that are also as units close to each other, form the built language around the area, with attention to minor details of auxiliary spaces for activities such as drying of the caught batch of fish, segregating spaces, etc. taken care of.
