Bilal, introduce yourself, to the reggae fans out there who don’t know you yet Well, I am Bilal and me was brought up in Jamaice but wasn’t born there. I’m a serious person, I like to read and try to uplift the nation with my lyrics by thinking hard and positive only.
whats a typical day like for you nowadays? I wake up and give thanks for life. I then hit the studio until late, I play football and I train in my spare time.
Your song ‘they don’t care’ tell me the meaning of the song, what message are you trying to portray? Well, it is about the system, how they make it so hard for us, with their corrupt ways. Just to show the world who are interested in my music as an uplifting message to make here a bette place.
I don’t really see myself as not being a singer, but I did want to be a fireman, but music is the one for me, nothing else.
