In Dedication An individual who chooses to dedicate his life to

teaching

embarks

on a

difficult

career.

His choice

profession is a constantly trying, apparently endless task. His rewards are scarce and often fleeting: the spark of comprehension in a student's eye, a well-written paper or perhaps just a right answer. Yet these rewards must be his compensation fo r a life-time of dedicated service. For many years this person has been an integral part of the personality of The Kinkaid School. Each year she leads the Junior class in its seemingly hopeless struggle to raise the Senior Prom funds; and each spring she painstakingly edits the Falcon Wings. of

sudden

But her

greatest contribution has been

to

the hundreds of

passed through her classes. To many of them she symbolizes their Kinkaid experience, and to each of them she communicates her deep love of poetry and literature. Frequently she will look up from a poem she has students who have

It is for this interest and devotion that

dedicate this

year's

to Mrs.

respectfully

Certainly, thought is the key to unlock the future, the mold for ou rattitudes; everything of value is de rived through thought.
