He also works with Highly Relevant, an internet marketing and real estate company he helped start 3 years ago. Outside of work, Clifton spends his time hanging out on the Venice/ Santa Monica boardwalk enjoying the beach and awesome Californian weather. Taylor Liedtke finished his MBA at SMU in May 2011 and works as a Private Equity Associate at Whiteside Capital Partners in Houston, Texas. Taylor and his fiancé Devon will marry this November. Annie Weathers Long got married in Houston on February 4 to Chris Long. Annie and Chris now live in Atlanta where Annie is a Communications Consultant. Kimberly Harberg Luskey and her husband Brian moved to Austin in February 2011 and bought their first house in central Austin. Kimberly and Brian adopted a rescue puppy named Markley. Kimberly works as a Freelance Recruiter for tech companies and launched an Esty shop selling Baby Boards. Kimberly loves being back in Texas! Bart McGuyer and fellow Class of 2002 wife Melissa Miller will move to New York City this summer. Melissa develops and edits books as an Associate Editor in the Katherine Tegen Books imprint of HarperCollins. Bart finished his PhD in Physics at Princeton University and will start postdoctoral research at Columbia University. Whitney Mears will graduate from the University of Texas’s MBA program this summer and will continue to work for Mosbacher Energy. Whitney and his wife Katie will celebrate their 6th wedding anniversary in October. Kate Schafer Nesselt got married to Sean Michael Nesselt on May 19. Kate recently changed jobs and is currently pursuing her MBA in Finance at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Michael Norton enjoys living in Austin, Texas and working at City School. Katy O’Brian Perkins graduated in May from Boston University with a Master’s degree in Information Systems and an MBA in Healthcare Management. She will be working in a two year rotational Management Fellowship at Mass General Hospital. Corinne Pickett lives in Los Angeles, California. After a couple of long term jobs, she is now freelancing as an Assistant Editor and hopes to land a job with a feature film. She tries to take

advantage of living in California so this past winter she went skiing for the first time in 20 years and she races sailboats several times a year. Will Richardson and his fiancé Annie Barrera will marry on July 14 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Ethan Rosenberg will finish working for the private wealth management firm in Houston, Texas where he has worked the past couple of years, and will begin the MBA program at Emory University in Atlanta this fall. Liz Love Ross is finishing up her dissertation for the Clinical Psychology PhD program at the University of Houston and is on track to graduate next year! For her final year of the program, Liz will complete her Internship at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. In addition, Liz and her husband Adam recently decided to adopt a rescue dog named Deena. Jessica Nichols Sanders lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband Alex and their two dogs Tala and Swan. Jessica is in her second year at the University of Utah in the Public Health PhD program where she is specializing in Reproductive Epidemiology and serves as the Study Coordinator for an infertility study. She works full time at the Utah Department of Health as the Data Manager for the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS). When Jessica is not studying, she is skiing, hiking or biking and she will complete a Century Bike Race in June. Ted Sangalis graduated from Fordham Law School in May and hopes to find a job in public interest or social justice starting in the fall. Ted is engaged to Caitie Hlushak and they will marry this summer in New York City. Courtney Shipper is finishing up her first year at the MBA program at McComb’s Business School at the University of Texas. This summer she will intern in Arkansas at the headquarters of Wal-Mart Corp in the Finance & Strategy group. Katherine Sorrell just finished her first year in the PhD program of Sociology at Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. She is adjusting to life in the Mid West and misses Texas! She will be travelling in Europe this summer doing research. Nancy Franklin Verly and her husband recently had a baby boy named Sebastian. Nancy and her family are very excited to announce that they are in the process of moving back to Houston! Scott Wade and his wife Katie live in Fort Worth, Texas and are doing

well! Their family continues to grow as they will have their third son in August. Their son Howard will be 5 years old in August and their son Jonathan will be 3 years old in July. Scott has been working for NextCorp Capital Management for the past four years providing Family Office Solutions. Scott co-founded the Fort Worth Civic Society (www. fortworthcivicsociety.org), which is a men’s group that gathers monthly to discuss classic literature. Kristen Wu finished her Orthopedic Residency and Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, California. She will move to Manhattan in July to continue practicing physical therapy. She looks forward to reconnecting with fellow Kinkaidians in the Concrete Jungle!

Elect for the world’s largest resident organization, the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association. He also continues his work as the Sergeant over the Child Predator Apprehension Team with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Lisa Frankel is still living in Dallas and working as a Marketing Manager at Frito-Lay. Robert Gondo is at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business getting an MBA and will be done in 2013. Robert will be working in Seattle this summer for his internship. Shea Henry continues to work at Burck, Lapidus, Jackson & Chase, P.C. Civil Law Firm. Caroline Murtaugh is living in Atlanta, GA working for Suntrust Bank as a commercial banking strategy coordinator. She also just finished her 10th half marathon in Edinburgh, Scotland in April. Georgea Pappas is currently working in Houston for Pappas Restaurants on its Culinary Research and Development Team.

Class of 2003 Christmas Gathering

Since college, Katy Bacon has hit all three coasts -- in Public Affairs at Google in CA, as Communications Director for Houston Mayor Bill White’s campaign for Texas Governor, and working on Strategic Initiatives at Planned Parenthood’s national office in NYC. Katy writes, “I’m starting an MBA at Columbia in the fall and am excited to live in one place for a couple years! Sara Cain and I have been living together here in NYC!” Nikki Barnes graduated from Georgetown Law last year (May 2011), passed the Maryland State Bar, and was admitted into practice last December. She is currently the Open Government Fellow for the Electronic Privacy Information Center. Nikki is enjoying her time on the East Coast, and hopes/ knows that her fellow Falcon alums are doing well.

Alex Perez graduated from law school, married his lovely wife Jennifer, got a pair of sweet dogs, Rufus and Felix, and bought a house in the last couple of years. He has been working as an attorney with the Department of Homeland Security for the last two years. He enjoys walking to his neighborhood dive bar, Three Sheets. Ashley Anderson Pettibon got married in October to Keith Pettibon. This month, they are moving to Birmingham, Alabama (with their dog Oliver) for Keith’s residency in radiology. They will be there for at least four years. Ashley has a job teaching special education at an elementary school in Birmingham and is very excited to move to the deep south!

Katie Lents Brower got married to Joe Brower this May. She is living in Austin working as a Graphic Designer.
