Launched in 2015, Heroes for 6 Minutes was created to give people with no boxing experience the opportunity to train with a professional boxing coach and then take part in a safe but competitive three round bout at a black tie event in front of their friends and family. All money raised this year will be going to Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity dedicated to supporting children and young people who have lost a parent whilst serving in the British Armed Forces. Inspired by the experience of Army widow Nikki Scott following the death of her husband Cpl Lee Scott in Afghanistan in 2009, the charity is currently providing assistance to hundreds of bereaved Forces children around the UK. ADDAMS FAMILY AUDITIONS SUN 15 APR 10AM – 5PM Is your child a budding Morticia, Fester, Lurch, Wednesday or Gomez? Do they have the Chill Factor? Brilliant Theatre Arts are very excited to announce their youth production of Addams Family Young@Part is taking place in King’s Lynn in October and they will be holding open auditions for children aged 7-18 years old. These auditions will be run as a workshop with singing, dancing and acting. There is no need to prepare anything. 7-11 year olds will be seen between 10.30am and 1pm (registration from 10am). 12-18 year olds will be seen between 1.30pm and 5pm (registration from 1pm). The spectacular features an amazing amalgamation of bizarre and fantastic circus acts all woven into a sensational shock, horror story and the darkest of magic. The King’s Lynn and District Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association have the pleasure in hosting the Royal Air Force Swing Wing Band, for a night of musical entertainment from one of the RAF’s premiere bands. The eighteen piece big band has established a reputation for excellence in this genre and has performed in not only some of the finest concert halls in the UK but all over the world, most notably opening the Sydney Tattoo in 2010. The Band’s repertoire ranges from all the legendary big band music such as Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Buddy Rich, through to more contemporary sounds. The Band includes two fine vocalists, which allows the ensemble to perform some of the finest vocal charts from the big band era.

The students of Taal-Rasa-Bhava Dance Academy are going to present a dance drama on the life of Lord Krishna to portray this devotional love in various forms, through the form of Indian Classical Dance called Bharatanatyam. This is a very popular dance form, originally from Southern India, time and again known for its graceful and sulphurous postures and rhythmic appeal.

Sophie is about to open her very own fish and chip shop in the seaside town of Hunstanton, and has invited three of her father’s old flames to the grand opening in the hope that one of them is her long lost mother. WHY DO WE CHARGE A VENUE LEVY? On Corn Exchange promoted shows a £1.50 per ticket venue levy is charged and is included in the advertised ticket price. For many incoming productions, the majority of the ticket income is paid to the Production Company or Promoter. The venue levy is entirely retained by the venue. Local events and hirings are excluded from fees.

CONCESSIONS Where indicated concessions are available for children, senior citizens, registered unemployed, registered disabled and students in full time education. Wheelchair seats will be charged at the lowest standard seat price for that show. Please present proof of eligibility when booking. A carers price is available for all Corn Exchange promoted shows. This is 50% off the top ticket price.

FAMILY AND GROUP TICKETS Family Tickets must include at least one adult and one child. Some shows have group booking discounts; these are listed in the brochure where applicable.

GIFT VOUCHERS Gift vouchers are available in any denomination and redeemable against any show at the Corn Exchange. Gift vouchers should be treated like cash, we cannot replace lost, stolen or damaged gift vouchers.

HECKLING POLICY RESERVATIONS Reservations must be paid for within 7 days of booking or 24 hours before the performance or event begins, whichever is sooner. Uncollected reservations will be released for resale.


Mindless heckling and swearing at the comedians is not acceptable behaviour and will not be tolerated. Any persons who continue to draw attention to themselves in this manner will be asked to leave. For Comedy Clubs groups of 10+ will be asked to provide a deposit of £50 on the door as a good behaviour bond.

We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded. Returned tickets will only be offered for resale when the venue is sold out and at a handling charge of £1 per ticket.

CORN EXCHANGE CLOAKROOM Situated to the left of the foyer, next to the confectionery stand, the Corn Exchange operates a cloakroom. This is a complimentary service, why not use this facility next time you see a show?

SUPPORT ACTS Support acts are regularly used by producers to start a show and ‘warm up’ the audience for the main act. The Corn Exchange does not always know if a support act is being used at the time of printing this brochure. Patrons are therefore advised that support acts may be used at the discretion of the producing management. For further information enquire at the box office on the afternoon of the performance.

CAR PARKING Car Parking is plentiful directly opposite on Tuesday Market Place and behind the Corn Exchange. Charges apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Blue Badge holders. A flat fee applies to evening parking. Please check the ticket machine for correct fees and times. BOOKING INFORMATION ACCESS (CORN EXCHANGE) Access throughout the Corn Exchange has been approved by All Clear Designs and includes: • Drop curb at the front of the building • Fully automated outside door • One level access from front door to wheelchair seating • Backstage, a fully accessible toilet on the ground floor for disabled performers • Lower level box office and bar counters • Baby changing facilities are available • Toilet for people with disabilities • We welcome both seeing and hearing Guide dogs. A bowl of water can be provided • An infra-red sound enhancement system for the hard-of hearing has been installed for use with or without a hearing aid. Please reserve sets at the time of booking (to be collected from the Box Office prior to the event) • To enhance your safety and comfort we require patrons in wheelchairs to book a designated wheelchair space

• A dedicated row of seats, able to accommodate both wheelchair users and a companion, is integrated within the main body of the seating.
