Coronavirus (Covid-19): Our plan for remote teaching and learning Dear Student As you will know yesterday the UK Government announced that students can no longer attend classes in schools within the UK from Monday 23 March. We are aware that you may have some worries or concerns about this so we want you to know that we have been developing detailed plans in case this did happen. The main thing that will change is that your teaching and learning will be delivered remotely until further notice. If you are following an academic course this will be from the beginning of term on Monday 6 April. If you are following an English language course this will be from Monday 23 March. To make sure your course continues as planned, we will move to our remote teaching and learning plan. It is called Classmate Plus. It will enable you to share in real time online tutorials with other students as well as interact with your teachers as usual using Classmate. Your assignments, homework and managed self-study will continue as normal. The most important thing to remember is that even if teaching and learning will take place remotely the school will not close completely. You will still be able to meet our staff at the school in the normal way if you need any support and advice. Also, if you are living in a residence you will be able to stay there. If you are living with a host family we are contacting your hosts to make sure they provide all the extra care and support you might need. You may have other questions. If so, please feel free to talk to any member of the school staff. We want you to know that whatever the circumstances we will do everything we can to ensure you continue to have a great Kings Experience.
