Coronavirus (Covid-19): Kings New York / Concordia College Update

This update relates specifically to the Kings New York center located at Concordia College. We can to confirm that, as of today, there remain no reported cases of the COVID-19 virus on the Concordia campus. However, as you are no doubt aware, the metropolitan area of New York City continues to be affected by an increasing number of cases of COVID-19. Due to the fact that our New York school is located within this area, our host institution (Concordia College) has decided to close all residential units and dormitories on campus. This is effective from April 1, 2020. Kings will continue to offer a platform for remote teaching and learning. Classes will be conducted via Classmate Plus, our online learning platform. We are pleased that the vast majority of our students have decided to continue with their classes in an effort to complete their intended courses. As an alternative to living on the Concordia College campus, many students have opted to make their own housing arrangements for the remainder of their course. Most are staying within the New York City area, while some have decided to return home until the situation stabilizes. Kings New York staff will continue to be available to students via email or phone. All students currently working directly with our progression management staff will continue to receive uninterrupted support in order to comply with university application deadlines. We are committed to maintaining our support to all our students for the duration of the current situation. Please do not hesitate to communicate with us if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support
