English Plus Art and Design This course is perfect if you need to improve your English while practising your art and design skills or preparing a portfolio of artwork. It combines General English with specialist art and designrelated disciplines.

2. Art and Design techniques The course provides opportunities to practise different processes. You will achieve an understanding of how art and design is taught in the UK through project work which will develop your creative thinking. The art and design content of the course is determined by you, and is structured around your experience and interests. Art skills covered include: Drawing Painting Sculpture Printmaking Practical 3-D Design for example, modelling, construction and design process including drawing

English classes are usually in the morning. The six hours of art and design classes are timetabled for afternoons.

3. Portfolio development You will be advised on further art and design study in the UK. Portfolio development can consist of advice on selecting and presenting work, creating new work for a portfolio and giving you the means to continue developing your portfolio after your course.
