KEJS

Clubs & Activities SUMMER 2018

RULES & CHARGES To sign up for an activity, children should talk to their parents about what they would like to do and parents MUST highlight the choices on the activities sheet. A parent must also sign at the top of the form. In the Spring Term, Year 3 children are allowed to do a maximum of three clubs. Please return the form by Monday 12th March 2018 to your Form Teacher (Return it even if no activities have been chosen). All clubs and activities begin week commencing Monday 16th April 2018. All activities will finish on Thursday 21st June 2018. Only one activity per lunchtime can be chosen. If there is a cancellation for a club we will give advance notice in the weekly Messenger or on the whiteboard in the foyer. If there is a cancellation for a club at the last minute, we will add a message to our information line (01225 820376) and email parents. Children will be able to go into After School Club free of charge. Children must be collected at the end of an after school activity. There is a 10 minute ‘window’ after which children will go into After School Club and there will be a charge. It is important that children attend the sessions they have chosen. It is courteous to inform teachers/coaches in advance if they are unable to attend a particular activity. For activities that are chargeable we will add the cost to your school bill. There can be no refunds if a child ceases to attend an activity for which a fee is payable, unless a replacement can be found. Music groups are a little different to the other Clubs and Activities, in that we hope to retain our musicians for the duration of the year. This is due to the development of skills and practice required to perform at a high standard and to the best of our ability in our end of year summer prom, featuring all of the music ensembles.
