Topic: How to embrace your goddess power Reclaim Your Inner Goddess All women are born to be goddesses. We all are like springs ready to overflow with love, compassion, divinity and bliss. However, as we go through life, our inner goddess is covered by layer after layer of needs, guilt, anger and shame. Even our environment could strip us of what it truly meant to be a goddess. We are forced to look at life in the hard way. Reclaiming the goddess within does not mean becoming somebody like Athena or Hera with their mythical powers. It’s not having Zeus or Poseidon as our father. It is about becoming an embodiment of love and divinity—claiming inner peace with yourself and with the world. And with that you can start shedding light to other people and influence them to a better and blissful life. How can you embrace your goddess power? The road is not easy. It is full of selfdiscovery, often hurtful and daunting. But you can start with the following things in mind. Take time to yourself. The world today has so many demands in a woman’s time— career, family and even the society. Women are expected to run the show and be selfless about it. Well, you have to stop. Start by taking a few days off. Reconnect with yourself. Strip off the layers of guilt and shame and anger building inside you to reclaim to your true essence. Remember, your goddess power is just inside you, waiting to be unleashed. Love yourself. Loving starts from one’s self. You can’t go out spreading love if you don’t find time to love yourself. A woman, by nature, is a babbling brook of love. Most of the times, we just give it all out without leaving a drop to ourselves. Still sometimes, we tend to keep it all in and refuse to give a drop. Either way won’t help you embrace your goddess power. Love is universal. You should love yourself and give it out. The true way to divine embodiment is realizing the true meaning of love. And the true form of a goddess is by accepting and spreading love. Being a goddess is not only for seemingly perfect women like Liv Tyler, Sarah Jessica Parker, or Natalie Portman. Being a goddess is universal for all women. We can all reclaim the goddess within us and thus bask in divine power and contentment. What we need is first to accept that we are all capable of being goddesses. And then, start the road to selfdiscovery.
