Making Memories

CLASS OF 2013

Edres Watanwal Most memorable moment at GWA: One event intrinsic to my memory of GWA was the inception of my first transnational GWA experience that I fondly recall as “Week With Out Walls”. When I leave school I want to: After my formative years in GWA and further education, I plan to revolutionize the economic sphere within Afghanistan, focusing on the role of women. I want to incorporate women into the world of business and this will need to be precipitated by change at the highest level of government; in the chamber of commerce. In turn, I will bring about structural reform in the political, economic and social contexts of Afghanistan as this is a cause I believe in and a cause I believe I can make a difference in. What I will miss the most: I will definitely miss the great learning environment and the never ending support of the generous faculties within the academy. Favourite subject? Why? In both Business & Management and History I enjoyed the great learning environment of the class. Last words: I will definitely miss the great learning environment and the never ending support of the generous faculties within the academy.

Olivia Zetterberg Most memorable moment at GWA: I think the best memories come from sneaking out of school with ma ladies. Hiding under blankets in the car and going chaotic of the thought that the guard would catch us, just to go back to school 20 minutes later, because of being scared of getting detention or going to Mr. Thomas room. When I leave school I want to: There are so many things that I’d like to do after school, I mean I’m gonna live for quite a while so I have a lot of years to fill out haha. but right after graduation I’m gonna travel and see the world and meet some awesome people! What I will miss the most: The people and ma clique of course!! Favourite subject? Why? Psychology for sure! I’m very interested in the subject even though I choose it by accident, I was supposed to take history but you couldn’t take that if you took physics. So it had to be psych, best academic accident that could happen. Awarded : Best Dancer, Most Athletic, Most likely to become a pro athlete

Last words: Leaving GWA will be really sad even though I’m very excited to finish school at the same time. It has definatly been some great years of my life and I hope to keep in touch with all my senior buddies.
