Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Identity and ads for a kohl pencil: Done for a fictitious company producing a kohl pencil named mirage. Mirage means illusion. This name was kept to make women believe that this product can make them look so beautiful that it seems to be an illusion. The logo is curvaceous in nature in reference to female body. Different women were targeted using different moods in all the media. Punch line ‘IT’S MIRAGE’ remains constant throughout to maintain the identity of the brand. ACHIEVEMENTS EVENTS Approval received from Government for “Tarang Life Care Foundation”

Tarang’s first event on 26th November 2009

Good news is that we finally got approval from Govt. for the name of our NGO and Govt. approved name is “Tarang Life Care Foundation”.

Two night schools participated in this event, Samarth Night School and Saneguruji Night School. It was attended by over 200 people.

This is a big milestone for our NGO formation. And it only makes us believe that hard work pays off in the end. We aspire to do much more in the future by the support provided by you.

Almost 30 night school students participated in the program. Program was flawless. Children performed Songs, Dance, Skit and tabla. It was amazing night.

21 set distribution in Night School

Republic Day Celebration – Sports Day

On January 15th 2010, Project Daayitva is distributed “21 set” books to 36 students appearing for 10th standard in SaneGuruji Night School (14) and Shree Samarth Night School (22).

We celebrated Republic day with Powai kids. There were around 200 odd kids who participated in the event. It was amazing to see how children were participating in the event. The event was well co-ordinated by members of Tarang.

21 set were of great support for these children as it helpe them to prepare for the exam and helped them score good marks. We also intend to do crash course on all subjects with these 2 night schools.

In the end we distributed medals to children along with Puma shoes. Once again our thanks to Puma specially Pavneet for contributing Shoes for these kids.

The main objective of the brochure was to convince the reader to donate for the NGO. Hence, a donation form was created and attached on the back side of the brochure so that the information inside is not disturbed. A closed gate brochure was created, where introduction of the NGO comes on the second folds and all the achievements and work has a separate space to be put together with visuals.

ZEEL Annual Report 2008-2009

Publication Design: The Task was to design an annual report for ZEE network, done during an internship. The theme taken was relationships, which were depicted through puzzles. The client wanted lots of images to be used. As per the channel’s image, the colors used are very bright.

As a module held in college, an exhibition was designed with the help of three other Design sudents. The topic given to us was Social Work in Pune. The space available was 24’ x 24’. We attempted to make it look simple and clean while properly utilizing the space and making it easy for people to walk around.

Print Design: This was done as a college assignment for a fictitious company called Teenage Association which is formed by teenagers as an effort to do social work. The above shown are visiting cards and two pages from Calender, which are quite informal in nature. Complete series of Calender and Stationery was also designed for the same.
