Hand Techniques

Kicks

1. Spearhand Strike: Chamber your striking hand in a knifehand position, thumb up, at your hip. Chamber your retraction hand out in front in a knifehand position, thumb up. Bring your retraction hand, bending at the elbow down and thrust your striking hand forward, ending with your retraction hand palm down underneath your striking hand elbow. Your striking hand should end with your fingers in a vertical position.

1. Jump Front Kick: Picking your non-kicking leg up bending at the knee. Jump off of your kicking leg for momentum and thrust your kicking foot forward into your target. Land on your nonkicking leg. Retract the kick the same way it was extended.

2. Twin Outer-Forearm Block: Chamber both hands in fists, thumb up on your hips. Bring them up, crossing in front of your body and execute Outer-Forearm blocks with both hands.

2. Hook Kick: Chamber your kicking leg as if doing a side kick. Extend your kicking leg and strike your target with your heel, keeping your kicking leg straight. Retract your kicking leg back to a round kick chamber position.
