World Maths Day 3rd March 2010 The school celebrated World Maths Day earlier this year with a full programme of Maths enriched learning across the curriculum. Staff embraced the opportunity to explore numeracy within their subject areas with vigour and the day saw students calculating energy in food types within science; working out colour combinations through number patterns in art; modelling football scores within ICT as well as calculating distances in geography.
Maths Activity day July 2010 Students took part in a variety of activities which included Origami, Bridge Construction, Probability and Maths in Art. The students were so enthralled that it was hard to get them out of the room for their break and lunch time!
